School Workshops 
Why not visit the Norval Foundation for a school outing? Enhance creative arts education in your school through discussion, activities and play. Familiarise learners with gallery spaces and let them appreciate iconic South African art face-to-face.

Hildegard Lernt Fliegen (SUI)

Hildegard Lernt Fliegen is an ambitious and daring sextet from Switzerland that features some of Europe’s top jazz musicians. The group is on a quest for musical ingenuity and walk a continuous tightrope between jazzy exuberance and quirky humour.

Join us for a night of jazz, Gluhwein and winter comfort food at The Skotnes restaurant, with a performance in Gallery 8 thereafter.

Tickets cost R450 for the performance and includes Dinner & Gluhwein
Tickets cost R200 for the performance only, excluding dinner.

Dinner commences at 17:30, and the show will start at 19:30 sharp.

General Members get 10% off, and Art Club Members get 20% off.

Sculpture Garden Tour with Keith Kirsten
Take a tour of our Sculpture Garden with Keith Kirsten. He is one of South Africa’s most renowned gardeners and world-acclaimed horticulturalists, who has meticulously revived and beautified this natural space. Keith has informed, entertained and inspired gardening enthusiasts for more than 30 years, and will personally lead a tour that tells the story of the rehabilitation of this unique wetland exhibition space.

The tour takes place on July 19th from 10:30 – 12:30, and tickets are R300 per person including tea and scones in The Skotnes Restaurant. General Members get 10% off, and Art Club Members get 20% off.

Kyle Shepherd Performance
The Norval Foundation concert programme kicks off with an intimate performance by Kyle Shepherd in Gallery 8. Kyle Shepherd is arguably one of South Africa’s leading progressive pianists, composers and bandleaders of his generation. Internationally recognised for his distinctive compositional style and performances, Shepherd has made a huge impression on debut as a film score composer for the critically acclaimed film, Noem My Skollie. 

Join us for a dinner on June 9th from 18:30 – 22.30 at The Skotnes Restaurant and a performance in Gallery 8 thereafter.

Tickets cost R435 for the performance and include the three-course dinner.
Tickets cost R200 for the performance only, without dinner included.
