Cape Town Art Book Fair 2021 is proudly sponsored by Coronation Fund Managers.

Over three days in September, Norval Foundation’s Atrium will be transformed into the second edition of the Cape Town Art Book Fair. Bringing together galleries, writers, publishers, artists and independent book-sellers, #CTABF21 gives you the chance to explore a variety of art books, zines and magazines.

The Cape Town Art Book Fair bridges the gap of accessibility in the art world.

The Cape Town Art Book Fair includes a dynamic Talks Programme comprising writers, curators, designers and artists. The associated programming includes workshops, events and kids activities.

Please note that space is limited, therefore booking is essential. Kindly ensure that you have booked for the correct date and time by selecting the correct date on the calendar and then using the drop down list to book a time slot.

Zine Space, a new initiative by Norval Foundation, in collaboration with Dream Press, will take place leading up to the Fair. Nine artists selected by a panel of judges will participate in a four-session risograph printing workshop where they will each produce an art zine which will be sold, along with Dream Press’ other publications, at CTABF.

The selected nine artists are: Anico Mostert, Brett Charles Seiler, Gerald Genie, Githan Coopoo, Louise Nöthling, Nathaniel Sheppard III, Neeske Alexander, Siphumelele Gumede and Wessel Mostert.

The CTABF Kids Nook includes special readings by artist Georgina Gratrix and Norval Foundation Education Coordinator, Lindsay Hendricks. There will also be a colouring in and activity corner for all kids to enjoy.
