A landmark exhibition tracing the life, journeys, and artistic legacy of one of South Africa’s most celebrated modernists. Drawing exclusively from Irma Stern’s archive and Collection, this exhibition marks the first of four exhibitions in a two year collaboration between the Norval Foundation, the Irma Stern Trust, and Nedbank.
Presented at a pivotal moment following the temporary closure of the Irma Stern Museum, this four part series ensures Irma Stern’s work remains accessible while expanding her legacy locally and internationally.
